Each farm in our network follows a rigorous food safety program in accordance with the most current government and industry regulations. Throughout the year, each farm and facility is monitored internally in addition to undergoing annual 3rd party food safety audits.
Packing our produce close to our farm fields ensures that our vegetables enter the cold chain quickly, preserving quality and extending shelf life.
We are continually developing new technologies and conducting research to be able to constantly ensure that we are providing the safest and highest quality products that you and your family have come to expect from us.

Meet the Director
Bob Ziel joined J&J Family of Farms in July 2016 as our new Director of Food Safety and Social Responsibility. Ziel hasmore than 30 years of Food Safety experience, and has held key Food Safety roles with McEntire Produce, The Kraft Heinz Company, as well as ConAgra Foods.
As an active leader in the produce industry, Ziel has held distinguished roles with PMA, the United Fresh Technical Council and Center for Produce Safety.
He attended Valparaiso University in Indiana, where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, and furthered his Food Safety expertise by acquiring a Master’s Degree in Food Science from the prestigious Rutgers University in New Jersey.
