Cucumber Farming

Crisp, Crunchy and Packed with Vitamins

As packed in nutrients as they are in flavor, cucumbers add crunch to a variety of salads and other dishes. Low-calorie cucumbers are low in saturated fat and cholesterol free, and are loaded with fiber and vitamins A and K. Great with dips, in Greek Tzatziki sauce, or sliced and served with onions in a sweet vinegar dressing, crunchy cucumbers are sure to delight your family.

Storage Tips: Storing cucumbers in the refrigerator will keep them fresh for a few days. Wrap each individual cucumber in a paper towel, then place in a plastic bag and then in the refrigerator to keep them fresh for a week. Cucumbers will develop pitting if stored below 40 degrees or if they are in contact with water, apples or tomatoes.
